    Hello professor. Just last night I was looking through my college book on decision Analysis. I had linear programming at university. I love linear Programming. I read story that the US Army had a linear programming model of more than 50+ variables to help them cost and build weaponry. I don't mean any disrespect when I say this, but if you taught linear programing, using Solver, which is an associated program in Excel and couple that with prompt engineering for linear programming you would be a God making golden men. In addition, to your programs I am studying prompt engineering, LLMs, where I just learn today the Opera Browser is going to allow the download of any LLM you choose to work on in your computer through using the Opera browser. That is amazing. I have a degree in Marketing, and I had planned to use Linear programing in business, but my path has been a bit diverted. It is difficult or me without an instructor. So, that is why I ask your indulgence because Electrical matter are your primary concern. Multivariable linear program is amazing and I think it would be great if you had that program as part of your school. I actually learn or remembered something I forget that make LP calculation fresh in my mind again. What a coincidence? Thank you.

      Well, I don't use graphical method as it only limited to 2 variables. There is simplex method, but number of iterations increase exponentially with number of decision variables. The one that I have used in all my published papers are metaheauristic algorithms including Genetic algorithm, PSO, Coot optimization algorithm, AGWO, and much more. These algorithms are not limited to 50 variables, they can take any number of variables. I currently have created a class on graphical method but didn't upload it yet. I wanna do the same for others. The optimization algorithms are very interesting and you would like them.

    Why have you kept the dc voltage rating of inverter similar to ac voltage rating? Isn't these two should be set according to the inverter dc/ac ratings?

    • @KhadijaAcademy
      @KhadijaAcademy 3 месяца назад

      You are actually not wrong! There is also a bigger mistake here, the 6.6 for DC is in V and the 6.6 for the AC is in kV. I don't know why ETAP didn't give an error here! The inverter DC rating can't be 6.6V :'D Let me explain how to get the DC rating in general: The DC rating is selected based on the maximum open circuit voltage. This can be done by taking the PV panel array open circuit voltage and multiplying it by a correction factor from the NEC based on the minimum temperature occurring in the location because as temperature goes down, the voltage increases. Finally, the inverter DC input rating will be equal to this value.

    • @priyal5354
      @priyal5354 3 месяца назад

      I have referred to datsheet for inverter ratings( have rough idea of system voltage to be around 1000 VDC). I am setting up DC input more than start voltage required as per datasheet. Although I have the VOC for PV panels, will try to go by how you suggested. Thank you. I have one more question, what about the DC power rating. Should it be set equal/more/less than the PV panel KWp output? For now, I am just letting ETAP back-calculate it as per the inverter's KVA rating.Although, I have read it should be set similar to PV panel power rating.Considering losses, can it be less than the pv panel output? This is kind of confusing me. And by any chance, have you covered protection-coordination studies for grid connected solar pv system? If yes, could you please share the link for the same? Thank you for the good work. 😊
